DK

Dani Knaak
14U Head Coach

Dani Knaak is the head coach of Hounds Softball 14U team. Dani was a three-year letter winner for Bolingbrook High School. She was named All-Area Team following her Junior year, and was selected as both Team captain and Team MVP as a senior. She was a three-time Raider Academic Excellence award winner and three-time All-Conference selection. She graduated from Lewis University in 2017 with a special education and elementary degree, where she played outfield for four years. Dani was a natural righty but turned a lefty slapper at 13 years old. She coached for Pride Elite out of Joliet for 5 years and has coached everywhere between 11 year olds and 18 year olds. She has also coached one year at Bolingbrook High School.  

Alix Lamana
14U Head Coach

Alix Lamana is the head coach of Hounds 14U team. Alix attended and played all four years at Lyons Township, starting on varsity her sophomore year. She was selected team captain her senior year. Alix played softball her freshman year of college at WVU Tech before transferring to University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she is now a senior. She has been giving hitting and fielding lessons since she was a sophomore in college, in order to stay to connected to the game.  

Cori Reynolds
14U DK Assistant Coach

Cori Reynolds is the assistant coach to the 14U Hounds DK. She was a four year softball letter and two year volleyball letter winner for Thornton Fractional South High School. She was a three-time All-Conference softball selection, two-time All-Area selection, and named team captain for three years. Cori was also named to the Chicago Sun Times Top 100 softball players in Illinois team as a senior. She graduated from Lewis University in 2018 where she played infield and caught for four years. She majored in Middle Level Mathematics with an endorsement in Special Education. Cori is the coach for the seventh grade softball team at Minooka Junior High and the coach for the JV softball team at Joliet West High School.  

Marissa Vazquez
16U Head Coach

Marissa Vazquez is Head Coach of the Hounds Fastpitch 16U team. She attended Fenton High School for two years where she was selected for All-conference. She attended Downers Grove South after that and went on to play at Robert Morris University. Marissa graduated from RMU in 2017 where she played four years of infield and was selected team captain her junior and senior years. Before joining Hounds Fastpitch, she coached 12U - 14U at Bull/Sox Academy.
